Did you know that investments in video have increased by 67% since 2015?

Data shows that companies plan to spend over £7 million on digital and mobile video ads this year, which is a 67% increase from 2015.

Studies conducted by Advertiser Perceptions asked 358 US companies of various industries, how much they spend on digital and mobile video, as well as their spending plans for the years 2015 through to 2017. The average showed that they spent around:

  • 2015 – $5.6 million on digital and mobile video ads
  • 2016 – $6.8 million on digital and mobile video ads
  • 2017 – $9.4 million predicted spend

With these figures in mind, other brands have dedicated over half their digital budget in the past two years to video. The standard spend this year on video alone will be 56% of the digital budget.
